When things go wrong,
As they sometimes will.
Life’s path seems narrow,
And you’re travelling uphill.

Life is full of twists and turns,
And when the pace seems very slow.
You want to smile, but you have to frown,

When debts are high, but funds are low,

And many a failure weighs you down,

And fear overcomes your body,
You feel like you can’t press on.
When you want to give in and call it quits.

When life seems to be at its lowest ebb,
And things couldn’t get any worse.
Friends have all gone, rejection abounds,
You feel that your life’s in reverse.
