Sometimes You may take me to a place,
Where I need to ask for Your amazing Grace.
Life’s path may take a sudden turn,
This is You, helping me to learn.
Heavenly Father, You are my best friend,
You care what happens to me and about the End.
There are many times when I don’t understand,
So with all my heart, I trust Your guiding hand.
When I stumble, and I often do, I just remain still,
Whilst You prepare my heart, and work out Your perfect will.
You take me daily, down a path, to reflect Your Son,
You do this for me willingly, You do this for everyone.
So I tell you, as we travel the pathway of life,
He wants us to shine, for His Son Jesus Christ.
Heavenly Father, in You I put all my trust,
To get to His Kingdom in Heaven, this is truly a must.
