Step out of the darkness and into the light,
Praise our Lord Jesus with all your might.
Whenever your heart is full of despair,
Go to Him, bow down in prayer.
Whenever your world seems to be closing in,
From all the torment, pain and sin,
Go to the Bible, His age old story,
That tells of His Strength, His Power and Glory.
He sent His Son to die, so that we might live,
So to Him all the Honour and Praise we must give.
The nails in His hands, the blood that was shed,
Then my Lord Jesus, was raised from the dead.
In the Heavenly Father, put all your trust,
He is faithful and caring; loyal and just.
His love for us endures, it never wanes,
Our God is awesome, from Heaven He reigns.
