Lord please help me, all the faithful have gone,People deceive one another and lie everyday.
Close their mouths and silence their tongues,
Cease their boasting without delay!
They say to themselves “we get what we want,
And we always say just what we like”.
But the Lord says “now I will come;
I will rescue the poor and those in strife”.
The Lord can be trusted, His promises are true,
They are as genuine as silver refined.
Evil men are everywhere, keep us safe O Lord,
Protect and preserve us from the unkind.
