You are great throughout the world.
Praises reach up to the Heavens for You,
To see Your flag unfurled.
I look to the sky that You alone made,
To the moon and stars set in place.
And ask “Why do You care about me?
Why do you care about the whole human race?”
You made man inferior, only to You,
And You crowned him with Honour and Grace.
You appointed him ruler over all You made,
And gave him power over all things in place.
Over cattle and sheep, wild animals too,
Birds in the sky, sea creatures as well.
Your greatness is seen in all the world,
O Lord You are King over all that dwell.
