I come to You my Lord for protection,Save me from the evil foe.
They would hunt me down like lions,
And devour me from head to toe.
But if I have wronged someone,
Or been disloyal to a friend.
Then let my enemies catch me,
And bring my life to an end.
I ask Lord that in Your anger,
You would see that justice is done.
Rise up against my enemies,
Bring them before You one by one.
You alone are judge of all,
Judge all and judge me too.
You know that I am innocent,
Honest and speak what is true.
You are protector of all who do right,
And make sure that justice is served,
Those who don’t change their wicked ways,
Will receive punishment well deserved.
The wicked are punished by their own evil,
They fall in their own wicked snare.
But You always do what is right,
I will praise You with song and with prayer.
