God created each person that ever lived down through the ages, to choose a relationship with Himself as the Father of creation. The Bible has been unchanged in content for over 2000 years and verifies that He created us:
“For you created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”
Psalm 139:13-16
You are no accident......it is not fate, luck, coincidence or chance that you are breathing at this very moment. God is vitally interested in you as His created being, and takes notice of all your choices in life and your attitude to Him and His plans for you......
“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
Your conscious life does not finish at death, but continues on eternally, either eternally with Him in Heaven, or without Him in hell, which is a place of separation and darkness.
That is the choice of every human being on Earth as we inhabit this part of life. Our destination cannot be changed after what we call death, overtakes us.
Unfortunately, most of mankind thinks they can ignore God and ‘do it their way’ and hence we have a World that is totally given over to selfishness, greed, lust, violence, pollution and a need for control over others. They blame God when something goes wrong; at the same time deny His existence.
A number of times through history, God has brought judgement on mankind for their rebellion and a final day, called the end times is upon us, which is outlined in the Bible, in the book of Revelation.
God, in His love and wisdom, has provided one last chance for mankind to obtain pardon from all their sin (disobedience).
Over 2000 years ago, God sent His Son Jesus Christ to Earth as a baby, born in Bethlehem, which we celebrate every Christmas.
Disobedient mankind has had judgement passed upon it and the penalty was spiritual death in eternity, for no sin can enter Heaven. So Jesus was allowed to be crucified in Jerusalem as a sacrifice to the Father on our behalf for our sin, to provide a way out for everyone to be accepted by God......
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
On the third day after being buried, He rose up from the dead.
So, regardless of upbringing, culture or ethnic background and you want to have purpose and significance in this life, pray a prayer to God, and mean it......He WILL hear you. Your mistakes of the past will be forgiven and this WILL be the first day of your eternal life......
“as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.”Psalm 103:12
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER:JESUS WILL NEVER LEAVE US!
He will be with us in good times and bad times, in sickness and in health, in success and failure, in testing, trials, tragedies and sorrows. He will be with us in times of poverty and prosperity, right to the end; including the journey through the valley of the shadow of death! (Ps. 23)
Jesus promised, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. My Father, which gave them Me, is greater than all: and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father’s hand”. (John 10: 27-29)
NO ONE CAN SEPARATE US FROM GOD...NO ONE CAN PLUCK US OUT OF OUR FATHER’S HAND; NO ONE, NO ONE, NO ONE! WE ARE PROTECTED FOR TIME AND ETERNITY, PROVIDED WE WALK IN THE LIGHT OF THE GOSPEL TO GO HIS WAY! WE ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO CAN CHOOSE TO DEPART FROM HIS LOVE. HE WILL NEVER LEAVE US, IF WE WANT HIM TO STAY!
St. Paul said, “Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul”. (Heb. 10:38-39)
Remember, dear friend: “But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin”. (1 John 1:7)
We must never forget that there are conditions as well as promises: “If ye shall ask anything in My name, I will do it. If ye love Me, keep My commandments.” (John 14:14-15)
St. Paul said: “In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.” (Rom. 8:37); “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me”. (Phil. 4:13)
We can do the same because God is: “No respecter of persons, places or times”. (Acts 10:34) And our dear Lord has not, cannot and will not change because: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.” (Heb. 13:8)
CHRIST IN US IS GREATER THAN THE POWER OF SATAN!
The Bible says: “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them (evil spirits): becauseGREATER IS HE that is in you (Jesus, the Holy Spirit) than he (the devil) that is in the world.”(1 John 4: 4)
Greater is the Lord Jesus Christ who lives within us and the Blessed Holy Spirit who leads us, guides us and comforts than all the powers of evil and darkness that is directed against us by the world, the flesh and the devil!
“Submit yourselves unto God, resist the devil and heSHALL FLEE FROM YOU.”(James 4: 7); “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist steadfast in the faith…” (1 Peter 5: 8)
