For God so loved the World,
That He sent His only Son.
To die for our transgressions,
To be the “Spotless One.”
He lived a perfect life,
No crime did He commit.
Yet He was condemned to die,
While the thief they did acquit.
But He gave His life so freely,
He died for you and me.
Mankind needed a Saviour,
So He came to set us free.
While we were still sinners,
Jesus paid the price.
So that we could live forever,
Only Jesus will suffice,
So Heavenly Father I thank You,
For the gift of Your only Son.
Eternal life in Heaven with You,
Is the prize that I have won!
