God did create the Universe, the bright and endless sky,
The moon, the stars, the blazing sun; the clouds that drift so high.
God did create the oceans, the clear and running stream,
The babbling brook, the lakes, and ponds that gleam.
God did create the flowers, the butterflies so bright,
The fish swimming deep and the birds in full flight.
God did create the seasons, the autumn leaves and winter snow,
The rainbow in the summer rain, the gusty winds that blow.
God did create the sand dunes, the valleys and the fields,
The fruit trees in the orchards, and the crop that yields.
God did create the lightning bolt and the thunderstorm,
The colours of spring, and the westerly winds, that blow so warm.
God did create the animals, lions, tigers and elephants,
The snakes that slither, the honey bees, and the tiny ants.
God did create the mountains high, trees that stand so tall,
God did create them all!
