God's promise to me, His promise to you,Is a love so deep, a love so true.
If we come to Him with a heart that's pure,
He will welcome us you can be sure.
He sent His Son, to die for you and me,
Jesus was the Lamb, that was slain upon the tree.
He bore the sins of the world that day,
So come to the Father, He's the only way.
He is our Stronghold, the Rock on which we stand,
And He holds the world in the palm of His hand.
He is the Way, the Truth and the Life,
We can run to Him when we are in trouble or strife.
God's promise to you, His promise to me,
Is a life with the Father for eternity.
What Jesus did, His great sacrifice,
Means we can live in God's Paradise.
