My Lord, my Jesus, You take me by the hand,
You lead me along beaches, foreshores of golden sand.
You lead me through pastures green,
The most idyllic places, that I have ever seen.
You lead me past a babbling brook, a slowly running stream,
The peace and the tranquility, it's like I'm in a dream.
Flowers of all colours, butterflies as well,
Birds singing sweetly, like they have a tale to tell.
Temptation, sin and evil, have now all gone away,
I thank You my Lord Jesus, for giving me this day.
Then I realize I'm in Heaven, I'm in Your Paradise,
I thank You Father God, not only once but twice.
My precious Heavenly Father, stands before me here,
I know that whilst I'm waiting, I have not a thing to fear,
I stand before You God; I stand in total awe,
That's why I am so grateful Lord; You've opened up the door.
